Community service is at the heart of our sisterhood. Kappa Delta Sigma proudly supports GardenShare, and several other local organizations throughout the year. We offer several hands-on service opportunities each semester, empowering members to lead with compassion and make a
difference locally and beyond.
Focused on a vision of healthy foods, healthy farms, and a county where everybody eats, GardenShare promotes a local food system that ensures food security for all St. Lawrence County residents.

Grill & Chill
Grill & Chill is our annual community event that combines good food, live music, and outdoor fun—all in support of a great cause.
The day kicks off with a 5K run/walk, open to participants of all experience levels. After the race, the party continues at 53 Park St with a community cookout and live music from a local band. Throughout the event there are yard games, a raffle basket, and a Grill & Chill t-shirt sale.
All proceeds from the event benefit GardenShare, supporting their work to improve food access and strengthen our local food system. 🌱
Whether you're coming to run, relax, enjoy the music, or support the cause, Grill & Chill is a great way to bring the community together for an afternoon of fun while giving back.
